Ferguson & Rogers Bring Old-Time Rock-n-Roll to Cape Vincent's First “Concert on the Green” of 2024

The Cape Vincent Arts Council is proud to open its 2024 “Concerts on the Green” series with the Ferguson & Rogers band on Saturday, June 29.

The free concert takes place from 4:00-5:30 p.m. on the Cape Vincent Village Green on Broadway St. along the St. Lawrence River. (Rain location is the Cape Vincent Fire Hall, 241 Broadway St.) Audience members should bring a lawn chair or blanket. For more information, visit capevincentartscouncil.org.

The 2024 Concerts on the Green are funded in part by a grant from the Daisy Marquis Jones Foundation. Audience donations also help fund the series.

Ferguson & Rogers
With a combined 110 years of music experience, Paul Ferguson (keyboard/bass/vocals) and DJ Rogers (drums/vocals) play “the music you grew up with” including classic hits from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s. In the course of their musical careers, the two have shared the stage with Del Shannon, Jay & The Americans, Gladys Knight, Willie Nelson, George Jones, and other music legends. With a loyal following in both the North Country and southwest Florida, Ferguson & Rogers are known for their crowd-pleasing repertoire and engaging performances.

The Concerts on the Green series continues with the following:

July 6 – Bad Husbands Club (classic rock)
July 20 – Moss Back Mule Band (blues/boogie/swing)
August 3 – Blue Country (bluegrass/traditional country)
August 10 – KEX (horn-based rock/pop/jazz)
August 17 – 10th Mountain Division Band (concert band)

The Cape Vincent Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization consisting entirely of volunteers. It is dedicated to providing opportunities for the public to enjoy and participate in cultural activities in and around Cape Vincent. Among the events it sponsors are the Concerts on the Green series, summer art classes for children and adults, the Stroll on Broadway, the Northern NY Riverside Music & Arts Festival, and the Thousand Islands International Piano Competition for Young People.
